A Pirate Rhyme

My son is only 2 years old and already has a love of a good old pirate story.  We  have been reading a lot of Julia Donaldson books together and he loves them too – the rhymes, the drawings by Axel Scheffler, the characters.  They are beautifully presented stories.  So on this Friday night, I have decided to try my hand at writing in rhyme!  Continue reading

My Bookshelf

I was looking at my bookshelf today with my children’s books on it and I was delighted to see that the books were so well-loved!  I can safely say that there is not one book that I have bought as an adult that is so well-read and falling apart at the seams!  Either I don’t read enough as an adult or maybe I’m just reading the wrong things!!?
